We've finally gotten a little warmer around here, above freezing, in fact. Our temps went above 32 on Saturday, and didn't dip below again until this morning. And it rained on Monday and Tuesday, which means that most of our snow has disappeared. But our lakes have reappeared, and Cody begged me to get the kayak down, and I did, so Cody and Logan went kayaking yesterday. In our yard. In February.
Notice the tree in the lake behind the boys. I'd say the water is about 2.5 feet deep there by the tree, and you can see by the wet mark that it was another 6 inches or so deep the previous day.
