How to tie your shoes using the pirate method (with pictures).

 X marks the spot

(Cross the laces to form an X)

 

 the pirates dig

(pull one lace under through the X)

 

 and then they pull out the dirt

(pull laces tight)

 

They grab one side of the treasure chest and then the other

(make 2 loops)

 

 and drag the chest across the sand to the captain

(cross the loops)

 

 pull open the lid

(pull looped laces tight)

 

and you've found treasure--your shoe is tied!
