This free-form menu plan feels appropriate for what I consider to be our last few weeks of summer (defining summer as it's hot and the kids are not in school for an extended period of time). We actually have about 3 1/2 weeks before the kiddos head back to school... So I guess we just have to repeat once? Or eat a lot of leftovers?
Supper:
- Zuppa Toscana, rolls
- Shepherd's Pie, applesauce
- Hot beef sandwiches, buns, carrots, fruit
- Grilled pork chops, veggie packets (from this recipe), applesauce, garlic toast
- Popcorn chicken, fresh fruit, broccoli/cauliflower/carrots
- Angel hair or zucchini noodles with meat sauce, green beans, mandarin oranges
- Hot dogs or brats, buns, corn on the cob, grilled green veggie, jello
- Slow cooker poblano chicken, brown rice, broccoli/cauliflower/carrots
- Pizza
