Well, here I am, plugging away at my September menu plan. I'm looking at this weeks' meals and wondering if I'm being overly optimistic to think that I'm actually going to be serving dinner 7 times this week. Yup, it's gonna be another one of those kind of weeks. Thank goodness our Wednesday activities haven't started up yet.
Here's what's on the menu this week (compare to week 3 of the plan):
- Meatballs, beef gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, mandarin oranges
- Chicken chili verde--save leftovers for a future meal, tortillas, taco toppings
- Chicken bundles--double & freeze (similar to this), green beans, applesauce
- Nachos, taco toppings, guacamole
- Pizza, salad
- Basil chicken burgers, buns, carrots, caramel apple salad
- Herbed chicken with wild rice, broccoli/cauliflower/carrots
Next Monday:
- Meat sauce with spaghetti or zucchini noodles or spaghetti squash, garlic bread, green beans, peaches or berries
Snacks/Other:
- Zucchini tots (Didn't have a ripe zucchini last week, so let's try this again...)
- Taco Bean Soup
- Greek Yogurt
- Granola (double batch)
- Guacamole
- Canned pumpkin
