Oh, how I love to give gifts! You, too?
I love to give gifts, but shopping for gifts? Not so much. Stores are so crowded at this time of year, and while sometimes the mood can be quite festive, most of the time the people I run into aren't really displaying their best Christmas spirit (even if I don't actually run into them). And don't even get me started on stores that are out of what I'm looking for. So I do a lot of my gift shopping online. What could be better than sitting in my pink polka-dotted pjs and my Animal (yes, Animal-from-the-Muppets) slippers, sipping hot chocolate, and scoring deals shipped right to my doorstep? And then when the packages arrive, it's just like getting a gift for me, because it's so much fun to get real mail, and doubly so when the mail is a big brown box that doesn't fit in the mailbox!
You, too?
Well, my friends, if you're planning on doing any online shopping in the next couple of weeks, or any time of year, please consider buying through the Amazon search box on my blog. If you order through my link, I will receive a small commission at no extra charge to you. See it? Right over... there --->
What's so great about Amazon? Well, you can buy just about anything through Amazon: toys, electronics, books, movies, music, tools, jewelry, diapers, even groceries and household supplies like shampoo and toilet paper! And many of the items ship FREE through Amazon Mom or Amazon Student or with Super Saver Shipping (Super Saver shipping requires a minimum $25 purchase).
And, to get you started, I'm giving away a $5 Amazon.com gift card! To be eligible to win, just leave a comment telling me what your last online purchase was, or what you're planning to purchase, or if you've never bought anything online, you can tell me that, too (if you don't have a google account, be sure to choose the name/url option, so I know who you are). The winner will be chosen by random.org on December 14--be sure to check back to see if you won.
This giveaway is not sponsored or endorsed by Amazon.com.

My most recent online purchases were from Amazon, of course. I got Advent calendars (the kind with chocolates) sent to my niece and nephew in Muskegon, and a Magnogrip magnetic wristband (to help hold screws etc) for Earl's birthday.
ReplyDeleteI too did more online shopping this year...and I like the crowds?! But there is something so sweet about getting a great deal at the time of buy and then you are reminded when it comes in the mail, double joy!...and you haven't even given the gift to the recipient yet?! I think my most recent purchase was for my nephew from target.com (which incidentally I was told at the target store, they are a separate company from target.com and will NOT match their own websites prices?! anyone else find that odd?)
ReplyDeleteHere's to winning the contest....Merry Christmas either way :-)
The last thing(s) I bought was from DaySpring. I had been eyeing this beautiful Nativity candle trio and it was majorly on sale so I nabbed me one! I also got a there Give Thanks caddy and God's Heart For You sterling silver necklace. Is that too much info? :)
ReplyDeleteI finished up my christmas shopping online 2 days ago! I bought my uncle a humidifier, my dad a nice sweatshirt, and I bought myself a camping percolator and 6-5 gallon containers for water, since our new cabin has no well.
ReplyDeleteHi Tera! :) I actually bought the popcorn popper from the link that you posted on Facebook! My mom loves popcorn (and so do I) so I thought it would be a good gift. Just got to figure out how to get it to MN in our suitcase! You are a good bargain shopper! Hope you are doing well...
